Peak organisation

Peak organisations have a multifaceted role. They are advocates for service providers and have a direct interface with us on behalf of their providers. They are also contracted by us to provide input into the planning and implementation of programs and services.

Many peak organisations work to build the capacity of the sector, providing guidance, training and support to member organisations.

Some peak organisations also provide direct service delivery; that is, they are service providers.
